My name is Clare, I am a 38 year old mum of 3. 

I started my career working for a spa in Hythe. The position was very fast paced and I learnt a lot in those years as a spa therapist. I decided to start my own business back in 2009. 

I have built up a steady network of clients over the years, many of whom have been with me from the start! My passion for my work never dulls. Each day I wake up excited for the clients I’m going to see and the treatments I’m undertaking. 

Business is absolutely booming!

Hi, I’m Marike, originally from South Africa. I studied somatology for three years before moving to London, where I worked as a beauty therapist for two years. After getting married, I spent several years travelling between London and Cyprus, freelancing in various London salons while also starting my own beauty business in Cyprus.

When we moved back to the UK, we settled in Ashford. During this time, I discovered a love for family photography and enjoyed working in that field for a couple of years. However, my passion for beauty therapy—especially nails—never faded. Meeting Clare opened the door for me to return to the beauty industry, and I’m absolutely loving being back.

I truly enjoy working with people and making them feel pampered, relaxed, and confident. I’m so excited for this new chapter and look forward to my journey at Blissful Beauty
